The important thing IS TO GET THE CONVERSATION GOING!!! IF there's awkward silences... she'll lose interest, and your screwed.
Being yourself is total BS. If I WERE MYSELF, a girl would get bored from hearing me talk about how I passed Need for Speed Underground 2, what my strategy's are for getting more frags in Half Life 2, my debates over wich bit torrent sites are better, etc. Girls like 2 hear: gossip, soaps, their LV bags that they wanna get, how that prada bag will look good on them, how that eye shadow matches this better, how they wana go 2 europe 2 vacation this summer, manicures, facials, whose hot in hollywood, celebs, etc. If you talk about that, THEN THE GIRL WILL BE NON STOP TALKING... cuz that's her specialties. WHY DO YOU THINK GIRLS LIKE GAY GUYS AND GUYS DON'T LIKE GAY GUYS? (other than the fact that you don't know if he'll touch your ass)That is where you'll also avoid awkward silences.!!!
Here's a tip: since girls like funny dudes, try 2 make a funny about the things SHE LIKES, that way she can make the connections. Avoid politics, cuz girls (in general, or high maintenance ones) could care less, except for that legally blonde girl.
