The days have flown by as we find ourselves halfway through the summer and preparing for fall quarter. There are still many exciting events to attend and connect with Cal Poly Pomona alumni and friends, including the Concerts Under the Stars series at the beautiful Hafif Estate in La Verne and an evening of barbecue and baseball at Angel Stadium. This issue of Poly @lumni also spotlights Mahvash Yazdi, '74, who studied industrial management and now serves as the senior vice president of Southern California Edison.
