Location: Career Center, Bldg 97, Room 120
Interviews for ICEP Internships.
The director of this longstanding program for PAID work abroad in a full-immersion foreign language environment, Dr. Guenter Seefeldt, will be
giving interviews at our university, citizens of all countries are eligible.
Interviews are free and entail no commitment on your part, allowing you to
see what kinds of positions the program coordinator can offer you.
The program has a $250 application fee (refunded if the program cannot find a placement for you) and a $700 fee that covers the work permit, placement and housing arrangements (due once you accept an internship offer). Positions in Europe - especially those in Switzerland, Belgium and Germany
- generally pay well enough that you can break even or even
save a bit. Positions outside Europe pay less well by U.S. standards, but
generally provide enough for local living expenses.
