it blows my mind how joe callero is a better master of spin than slick willie clinton. here's a guy with a losing record both at the DIII AND DII levels of coaching and somehow he has made himself into some kind of master rebuilder...you know, somebody who takes a disaster program and cleans up the mess.
only one problem. most programs are not into janitorial service but winning championships. this dude callero has done nothing close to that. only went to one dance in a decade, won one game and was done.
he must have sold AC some kind of sales pitch. i don't see the mustangs any better next year, just another campaign at or near the big west basement. joe knows, though...he's talking again, and this time he says his new club is in the mix for the Final Four.
