Welcome back to yet another exciting new quarter at Cal Poly Pomona and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. And glad to have the new freshmen join us this quarter. Several announcements worth sharing with our members are:


NEW REGISTERED MEMBERS/VALIDATION
CalPolyOnline.com forum has more than ONE Thousand students registered currently. However, not all the registered students are participating. The reason is that many new registrants have not “activated” their account. E-mail activation is a simple procedure where the registrant needs to check their e-mail inbox (e-mail which the member provided during the registration) to locate the e-mail sent by CalPolyOnline.com. Inside the e-mail is an activation link in which the member needs to click in order to complete the registration. From then forward, the members have the privilege to create new threads and posts on existing threads.
If you have already registered on the forums and had problems logging in, contact me. I will help you activate and resolve any problems with your user account.


PHOTOGRAPHERS NEEDED
If you are a budding, amateur, or a professional photographer and would like everyone to see your beautiful shots, CalPolyOnline.com wants you. CalPolyOnline.com is looking for two photographers from ‘Cal Poly Pomona’ and two from ‘Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’ that would like to take artistic photo shots of any campus events, performances, artwork, guest speakers, and pretty much anything that takes place on our campuses. Your photos will be placed directly on the Gallery page for everyone to see. Your name (or username) will be fully credited along with your submitted photos. Your artwork on CalPolyOnline.com Gallery will look great in your portfolio. If you have an interest, contact me to get started!


COMPLETE CLUB and ORGANIZATION DIRECTORY
The CalPolyOnline.com Club & Organization directory has been completed. All existing clubs and organizations of both Cal Poly Pomona and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo have now been listed alphabetically and can be found here.
If you are a member or a staff of the listed club(s), please use the subforum to post your club’s announcements, upcoming events, news, and all information pertaining to your club. Using your club’s subforum is a great method to attract freshmen and current students into your club and let all Cal Poly students know how great your organization is.
