• CalPolyOnline.com staff and moderators are not responsible of your transaction whatsoever. Please use your own judgment and discretion before starting and finalizing your transaction.
• The Classifieds forum is moderated by the moderator and may require moderator validation before a new thread is displayed.
• Exchange contact number and school e-mail address (student@csupomona.e du).
• Sales and trade that require delivery are not ALLOWED! Only on-campus and pickup transactions are allowed in the Classifieds forum.
• One item per thread. If you have two items for sale, please create two separate threads.
• You must contact the buyer/seller through the specific thread. You should exchange cellphone numbers or e-mail to find the time and location where the transaction will take place.
• No outside links to any other sales, service, eBay auctions, and etc.
• Do not offer extremely low offer.
• No services allowed.

1. Be honest with your listings.
2. Clearly represent your product and its descriptions.
3. Always honor your word.
4. Post a price for the items you offer for sale.
5. Promptly communicate with the other party at the different stages of the deal.
6. Exchange phone number, and talk to them over the phone (if needed).
7. Please, update your thread when an item is gone and state to whom it went.
8. Stick to the terms of the deal. Avoid becoming a trader that gets involved in misunderstandings.
9. Make a printed copy of the deal and save it until the transaction is complete. This will prevent confusion.
10. Try very hard to resolve any issues relevant to your trades away from this forum and preferably by e-mail.

When you create a new thread in the Classifieds forum, you will notice a Thread Prefix selection bar left to the Title textbox. You can either select a [Sale] prefix, a [Wanted] prefix, or leave it default (no prefix). We recommend that you select the prefix relating to your classified thread.

In addition to the [Sale] and [Wanted] thread fix, registered members can now use the [Rent] thread prefix when posting about renting. If you are looking for a roommate or looking to rent out a space, the [Rent] thread prefix will make your thread more visible to all visitors.
