I heard if you have the CD that comes with the package, you can study off of that and pass the exams.

I took the CIS intro class also and the professor made us do all the projects (forgot his name). But on his syllabus, it was clearly written that only the exams had to be passed in order to get the class credit.
Guess what? Didn't do a single project and only passed each exams and got the credit!
