MHR 410 vs. TOM 411

hi business majors!

i was just wondering... which class you would recommend taking for Strategic Management, MHR 410 or TOM 411?

The MHR college advisor recommended TOM411 between the two. I've asked five MHR students and they've all taken TOM411 and not MHR410.

TOM411 Strategic Management Course Description:
Simulated experience in integration of the business functions utilizing computer based management games; develops concepts of management strategy and policy for competitive excellent and ethical operations; total quality management. Cases in management strategy. Analytical techniques as applied to business cases.

MHR410 Strategic Management Course Description:
Seminar in strategy formulation and implementation. A capstone experience integrating all business functions and requiring evaluation of strategic outcomes from ethical as well as economic viewpoints. Consideration of Total Quality Management. Case and computer simulation analysis. 4 seminars. Prerequisite: completion of College of Business Administration core.

MHR410 is much more challenging AND useful.
