Registration Process

For the visitors who wishes to register and have full access to the SLOPomona.com discussion forum, you will need to completely fill out the necessary information asked on the registration page. This includes:

• User Name
• Password (twice)
• E-Mail Address (twice)
• ReCaptcha [Type in the two words shown under 'Image Verification']
• Select which Cal Poly university you attended or the Other radio button
• Yes or No for Alumni
• Type in the four digit for your class year. If you are not a Cal Poly student, type in 9999.

Click "Complete Registration" to finalize the registration. Please note, the administrator will manually validate your account and until then, your new account will not have the privilege to start new threads or posts in the forums. This procedure is to deter spammers from getting access to the forum and yes, they still register to this day.

The Image Verification problem with reCAPTCHA has been fixed. reCAPTCHA stopped displaying the images on SLOPomona.com's registration page because the codes needed to be updated after Google, Inc. acquired the reCAPTCHA technology.
