This site is too inactive for me...

I thought this site would be more active...but the latest post from this forum was from 3 months ago...

pretty inactive....how disappointing

True, lot of the current Cal Poly students use social websites like MySpace and Facebook (heck, I use FB more often now) more frequently. diaoman, lot of the old members have probably graduated and moved on with their busy life. Some members still care to come visit the Cal Poly forum and answers questions and add their inputs when they have time to do so.

The forum gets questions once in awhile from freshmen students and others talk about different topics like sports and other topics in existing threads. Cal Poly forums rank very well in the top search engines and visitors across the nation will find CalPolyOnline.com to do their research on the universities and based on the existing threads here.

I also noticed the traffic to the forum has been steady but a bit lower than previous years. Visitors and students find the website but they either don't want to bother with the quick registration to start posting on the forum or they find all the information they need using the Search function and leave the website. If everyone who visits the site posts a thing or two, the forum wouldn't seem very inactive, would it?

The last posts were made few days ago.

i wish it was a little more active as well, but other like to talk to their friends outside of school. i think this site provides great information, and is a good forum to talk about slo and cpp. i remember that poly love site that went nowhere years ago. they have that now, its called "myspace"

Yes it can be inactive but if people post there is a few that would answer questions. I agree with admin you can find out so much about both schools through searching old threads.

Welcome diaoman. I remember when this fourm used to be very active a few years ago, but lately things have slowed down a bit. Perhaps during the holiday break their will be a slight increase.
