Major Update and New Feature: Open Class Notification!

In time for late registration I slaved long hours to bring a fresh new look, and hopefully a very useful feature!

As you can see at gradecalpoly.com the interface is much cleaner and hopefully easier to use. The color schemes are not so crowded, and a new logo has arrived. Hopefully this design lasts for years.

But the really big news is OPEN CLASSES NOTIFICATION!

This feature lets you input CRNs for classes you want that are currently full/closed, and the automated system will notify you by e-mail or cell phone text message if the system discovers the class opens up. This should hopefully make give people who want into closed classes the edge to getting in! The system will check to see if the class is open every 2 hours, much more then any of us can check!

Major props to you PandaMoOo!

I really like the new interface - very clean and user-friendly. I can't wait to use the feature (trying to add one more class).

Thanks iKwak! Oh oh... props to Zoe! Although she may be hiding from the spotlight, she put together most of the new look and feel of the website! Go Zoe!!!

I like to make a suggestion for "Open Class Watch": Is it possible to have both phone and e-mail notification turned on? As of now, the end-user has the option to choose either the e-mail or the phone notification for open classes but in certain situations, having both option available and working can be more beneficial.

As much as I would like the credit, I am no graphic artist. I scoured the internet for appropriate images, and edited them as needed for our purposes. I'm afraid my drawing capbilities are limited to stick figures. Heh well ok maybe a bit more than that, but still not a real artist. And the panda logo isn't mine at all. The overall look is a team effort!

Sure sure, when I get around to it, I'll add it. Probably within 2 weeks... need to take a nice relaxing break and be on the lookout for bugs before I change anything.
