Default Script timed out page

Code:
Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'

Script timed out

/index.asp

The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.
Just got that message right now. But I don't think it is much of a problem because the site came back up when I refreshed the page.

What page were you trying to view?

Server probably got overloaded and lagged out or something... but there might be a bug causing it to lag out.

I have been getting that message quite frequently in the past couple of days. Refresh works sometimes but most of the times it doesnt.

Thanks a lot for bringing this question to light that-one-guy. I too have experienced the problem quite a bit over the last few days.

I made a number of changes to the server configuration as I have tried to figure out what may be causing it. I think I fixed it as of last night, but it comes and goes - so its hard to tell. Please tell me if anyone continues to experience this problem and i will investigate the matter further...

Good news: I decided last night that sometime over the summer I would upgrade to a more professional hosting solution. I'm going to need to do a lot of work in the summer so performance may be hit or miss for a week - but I think it will be worth it.

PLEASE POST AGAIN IF ANYONE SEES THE SAME MESSAGE!

Hi 88accord, my first try using Mozilla Firefox browser was a success. I typed in the professor last name on the gradecalpoly Find Graded Instructor box and everythign worked fine.

When do you get that error message?

Thanks for the error message!

(The bug was related to an isolated case of when people searched for classes with one section available.)

I tracked down the bug to an old bug I thought I fixed. Sorry for the problem! The bug somehow got reintroduced when I updated the website with some new features. (You can now just put all the CRNs you want and out will pop a beautiful schedule.)

The bug is fixed, and thank you again for notifying me! Without people like you, more people would experience trouble!

No prob!
I had my schedule all set(i got really desperate so i searched through the teachers, then look at what classes they were teaching, then time, ect) after about 2 hours...then i go on to put the crn's in the bronco direct....i had a hold... DOH!! haha, and now, all the classes are filled up... If i could kick myself in the face, i would.

I really like that website, and have been referring all my friends to it because ive found it really useful in the past. If i have any more problems Ill be sure to shoot some feedback this way. Im just glad i was able to help out a little.
