This game was a more dominating performence overall than the last game against vanguard. Broncos beat westmont 77-62. leading scorer was w. thompson the senior transfer with 19 pts and 5 assist. dahir nasser had 15 pts. Larry Gordon had another double double 12 and 12.

positive- Gordon was not the offense today. The rest of the team need to contribute like today if the Broncos want to have sucess this season.

defense was solid in a half court. Got burn for pts on transition.

this is why you want to have at least one solid OOC game before you start league play. we always did this before the program almost declared bankruptcy. now we are only playing very weak NAIA schools. remember when we played UCLA, USC and LMU in the same season? now THAT is preparation. and we were competitive with the trojans until the last minute and should have beaten the lions. now we just don't know, other than if you can't hit from outside against these two teams imagine what will happen with the rugged defenses of the CCAA. the remedy for poor outside shooting is a kevin love type gorilla in the paint, but we don't have that either.

i guess that was the good old days.. having a good tough preseason schedule.

But for some reason, I do think we'll are a better team than last year. We are passing more and plays a more team game. We just need to work out the quirks.
