![]() | watch out for the tritons in this thing. they are dangerous. and they must win out to dance while the tri champions should get ncaa seeds otherwise. that's who we would draw, save some other crazy seedings rules, in the semis assuming the faves prevail on home court. on the other side of the bracket you should see the toros and yotes go to war on the yotes home floor. when you have the nicest gym in the league you have certain advantages of course. back in the day we had three nice arenas at davis, bakersfield and san bern but the other guys went DI. and how about the jacks? a twenty game winner forced to play a ROAD game? and all the way down to la jolla to boot? wow, those redwood fans won't like that deal at all, particularly given how tough UCSD plays there. and on a weeknight even. that's a tough one for coach wood and them small town boys. toby, keep it up dude. you too walter. austin, stay cool. and larry just do your thing. i anxiously await swami aka lakdod with those predictions! hey hall...a shout out. where are you? time to talk turkey and dance steps. |

![]() | lakdod has stopped making his accurate predictions. bronco went over the hill never to return. pl28 has shrunk his rare posts to only a line or two at most. x-man has left us, disgusted at the athletic department. and even the roundball guru hall is nowhere to be found. in the midst of all of this is a team that is on a mission. this could be coach k's best job ever. eight guys, one of them just a walk on. most of them never played together before. up against one of the deepest talent pools in league memory. and all they do is grab a third league title? where are you guys? it's time to dance. |

![]() | I am here jay still but i learned from the last three seasons I have to save my picks for when it counts. No scoring prediction but here is how I see the final of the ccaa tournament. cal poly pomona vs cal state san bernardino in part III of inland valley shootout, the border war, or what ever you call it. |

![]() | JB, we still here just probably busy with school work and other stuff, I know I am.. but yes, that not an excuse. This season is def a classic, we were the underdog for almost the entire way. I believe we were ranked like around the bottom half. we lost some players but then after few disappointing loses, it seem like we found ourselves, we clamp down on Defense and start playing team basketball which leading us to a 10 win streak. As for tonight, SF state is going to be hungry, they have nothing to lose but I believe the Broncos will come out and match their intensity (thanks to Coach of course) But don't forget about the ladys team, well improved from last season. |

![]() | just got home, the mens game has started and there's still not even a SCORE posted on the ladies game that ended a half hour ago. in fact, the athletic department web site still has not posted a score for the game completed on FEBRUARY 27, which was FOUR DAYS AGO!!!! unfortunately the chico state webcast has concluded. and of course our always up to date athletic department still lists a game in JANUARY as the NEXT webcast for our school. now, bronco fans who can't make the game have to put up with the agony of hearing the gator broadcaster since once again we are asleep at the switch. when in our lifetime will our athletes ever get any support? this is unconscionable. |

![]() | jb, you're obviously frustrated and you seem to be one of the oldtimers who has been a bronco fan for a long, long time. it's just as obvious that nobody at the university gives a damn about the gross negligence shown in athletics over the past year or so. that's why i decided the only message that has any lasting effect is to stop donating to bronco athletics. if enough people do this heads will roll. but as you point out clearly this time it has gone way too far. as you say the web site is more than six weeks out of date and may be the worst in all of ncaa division 2. the webcasts have ceased. you never get box scores and now, even for a home game, you can't even get a final score--yet somebody all the way up in chico has a game summary written and posted that's more thorough than any we've seen on our side in years. maybe all of us should just start writing letters to the president about this. the facts speak for themselves. btw, the lady broncos got beat by the underdog wildcats on their home floor. one and done. hope our men do better, they're way ahead right now. |

![]() | gee x-man, long time no vine. glad to hear from you after so long. am afraid i've come to the same conclusion, to stop donating for the first time in twenty years. it literally is the very worst i've ever seen this place, and that includes the last budget crisis period fifteen years ago. the live stats site has been down more than up tonight....again. so back to the gator cast since ours is once again so unreliable. sounds like larry is tearing them up. thanks for the lead on the chico site and yes, that was an excellent recap of paul helms type speed and quality. meanwhile, our site still lists the ladies game as upcoming two hours after it ended, and yes, the schedule suggests the next game is against monterey bay in seaside--which as you say was last week. look for tonight's score sometime around easter. |

![]() | okay broncos look great in the first half but look horrible in the second. I mean horrible can not make a lay up or free throw. Anyways a win is a win and were off to dreaded pit in san bernardino to play Monterey who upset dominguez. I got to say great turn out for the students made the game fun in the first half and props in the ADepartment for not making the students pay. of course the website still sucks. men game start at 530pm because they flop us to get more revenue by puting san bernardino last. |

![]() | my fans have been calling for Hall so the Hall is back... I have been gone for a while and I come back to the same issues... The Athletic Dept sucks, the website sucks, no one gives a damn about CPP athletics, were all going to stop donating to Athletics.. I have been saying this for years... Coach K is a mastermind. How does he do it, honestly? He has been down to 8 players all year long and has done nothing but win 11 games in a row. He lost his 2nd best player coming into the year in Donnelle Booker, a talented incoming freshmen and has done nothing but win a conference title. Coach K is hands down the best coach in the CCAA. His teams are always prepared and a step ahead of the conference foes. Tonights game was a classic example. His team already secured a spot in the west regionals and could have packed their bags already but instead when everyone thought LG was sleeping, somehow Coach K got LG to wake up and dominate. Tonight LG showed why he is the CCAA Player of the Year. "Pure Domination" He cleaned up on the glass and controlled the game. LG may be on his way to an All-American award if they manage to keep winning. As far as the Broncos, it would be a shame if they host a subregional with the lack of support at CPP. As continually mentioned, the website is in no shape to host something of this importance. I would feel sorry for the washington schools if they had to rely on CPP's website for any game updates. As mr jay mentioned it might be until Easter until anything is posted from tonights games. Another message from Hall...

![]() | how long has it been since both the x man and the hallster have been with us on one night? here's to old times.............. well lakdod, the table has been set and the party's two main guests are about to be seated. will we see border war part three? i still say the tritons are dangerous and hungry to dance. they threw a twenty game winner out of the party and it's very rare you win that many and go home without at least one game. this year's quarters were just like last year with teams needing to win doing so other than the toros must not have known they were about to host a sub regional with a tourney sweep. now it's up to the wizard of west pomona, coach k, to will our men into continuing the trifecta and setting a new school record for consecutive victories. he is a freakin' genius, isn't he? and at what better place than the home floor of our arch rivals? a novelist could not have concocted a better plot-line. coach oliver has a team so deep that heralded d-one level studs can't get playing time, while coach k is calling the ncaa to see if he might have a few minutes of eligibility from somewhere just in case HE might need to suit up given a bench of just two recruited players. harken back the ghosts of lucas, marques, j-will, sybesmania, and the h-man, hervey the junior, for those tourney memories. but hall poses a very real and scary scenario. if we win out this weekend we are highly likely to really host an ncaa first round game on our home floor. do we dare expose the west region to the kind of negligence and incompetence we have witnessed for almost two years? no webcasts? no scores? stats that are down more than up? an archaic website from the early 1990s. what a nightmare, but perhaps this could be the wakeup we need. lakdod, correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't that mean we might draw a field of four with the other bracket held on oahu? imagine some other college prez calling ours asking where are the scores and stats!!!! LOL |

![]() | yes we might host a sub regional. I think this will be the best team for the program of we somehow host a sub regional. First, it will bring extra money to the athlethic department. second it will show our flaw to the rest of the west region. Imagine the complains they might recieve. In history and life, one events can change the way things are done. Maybe it might force change within the website. I hope. Anyway off to enemy territory, hopefully no let down against Montery like in the second half of the game, and i think were in the finals. The UCSD vs cal state san bernardino game should be interesting. I think I might stay and watch the game after a broncos win. This game means alot for the whole west region. This is bascially an elimination game. You win you go to regional. You lose time to look forward to the off season. I am rooting for UCSD but I think san bernardino wins. |

![]() | Holy bat-cape, Robin might say.... or Orphan Annie might shout, Leapin' Lizards.... Did anybody see the front page of this week's POLY POST????? first, the good news. GREAT coverage...the best in years. and now, the here-we-go-again factor: Did you know that a) the Broncos are playing the conference semis at HOME Friday and b) the Broncos were NCAA DII champions 28 years ago? that's what the Post tell us. you almost wonder which is worse....no information from the athletic department or disinformation from the campus newspaper. am going to make a prediction, lakdod. if coach k. takes this broken down half team to the national finals he is gone. somebody is going to steal him, and no wonder. |

![]() | sorry, i don't agree if you mean "okay" to mean something like we've seen in our ladies program that is a five time national champion once again one and done and still going nowhere in the post paul thomas era, or our woeful three time national champion baseball program that hasn't even QUALIFIED one time for the dance in fifteen years in the post john scolinos era. that is NOT okay. i've been in quite a few locker room discussions and even close enough to a few huddles over the coach k. years. he is a masterful motivator that we otherwise don't have. no knock on the staff but they aren't at that level. coach bannon is a great recruiter (he found and wooed the legendary mr. clean for example) and all are strong on the Xs and Os. but it's the intangibles that make a difference. |

![]() | okay i am not a happy broncos fan. they should of won that game but the curse Collisium what ever that arena name is still haunts the Broncos. i really dont want to talk about the game that is how shock I am. at least not the end of the season. The regional is coming up. This loss can be a wake up or the beginning of the downfall. Hopefully it was a wake up call. i gave up of hosting regionals even though there still an outside chance we do. |

![]() | okay, look on the bright side, lakdod. our okey-dokey sports information director once again failed to do a webcast tonight. and as a result many bronco fans not attending the game did not hear how badly we played, particularly on the offensive end where we shot only about 33 per cent and did not score a single basket for the first 12 minutes of the second half. the yotes hung on to take game two. will the otters cinderella season continue? or will the home team prevail, potentially setting up game three of the border war on our floor for a much bigger prize? nice to see you and the hall at the game tonight along with a nice cohort of bronco fans. the pep band rocked as usual but where were the cheerleaders? |
