![]() | it's time to DANCE, bronco fans so let's roll! hall, check in please. we miss you. and nice to see the x-man back in da haus. we simply could not have gotten a better draw. almost everyone sees central and dixie as the two weakest team in the region and both of them are on our side of the bracket. i sure like the top as opposed to the bottom, which is loaded with seattle, BYU, and the other two stud teams of the CCAA who must face each other for round number four of this season. anybody from the bottom half could show up in the regional final. tobi, time to put your tournament shoes on. if you and fells can control the paint i like our chances. but guys, hit those freakin' charities! we might be the worst free throw shooting team in the entire field of 64. you can't give up those easy points against good teams night after night. good luck guys and good luck too to the ladies, who are a serious threat to win a game for the first time in way too long. colson is the real deal--and oh, by the way, has something like a 3.8 in a very tuff major, accounting! wow! |

![]() | I can't believe you missed one the most awesome games in recent CPP history. I recall a buzzard beater during the Jeff Bonds days that may have been half as exciting as this one. I am convinced we have the best coach in Div 2. I had just given up just before Swifts and Fells buzzard beaters with .6 seconds left in regulation and OT respectively. Before those two plays, Coach K was actually SMILING and encouraged our guys to give it their all, probably knowing this was not the end for Swift and Nasser. I can only chalk this up to the experience we've gained all these years in the playoffs. Going forward to the regional final on Monday, I'm still not sure Tobi's showing the nerves of steel that made him a leader during last years tourney, but as we saw tonight, Fells can more than fill that void. Anderson's open treys from the side after a feed out from the center work like a charm. And just as Larry played every point as his last, Swift seems to be taking after him quite well. Way to step it up Austin! Our sucky charity work didn't affect us tonight coming from behind but is still a huge weakness to watch out for if we're ahead. If this BYU team is anything like last years, we should have a real match on our hands. As I recall they had a few studs that could shoot from the outside especially that Brazilian guy, whom I believe was coming back this year. I don't know why they had a slow start this year but they're on a long winning streak now and they blew away the Yotes. Expect nothing but a close game. Go Broncos!!! |

![]() | WWU had a funky network feed system that took both night many attempts for me to access. i never could get the radio feed so had to settle for the bizarre little green and white dolls run around the court like it was a real game. i far cry from the quality we saw in the CCAA tourney, or local feeds from schools other than ours. as hall always would say coach k. is a mastermind. SLO totally blew it by not hiring him. if they had they wouldn't be 11-20 again this year but would have been far more competitiive. this coach deserves a bigger stage and i only wish we could give it to him. so he has to make do with backwater locations. fells, just a beast. like tobi last year his inside game has matured over the season. swift, a gamer. unafraid to take any shot on the floor. and the entire team hearts of champions. you can see that by the rebounding edge we had on the other guy's floor. donelle came within one of a double double at 15-9. the seasiders are healthy and hungry. but do they have the coach who can take them past the sweet sixteen where they are now? yes, they have two stud guards in whippy and jet chaing both of whom are playing their best now. and they have last year's national player of the year, alves. and yes, their entire first team is back from last year's loss in laie. and yes, yes, they BLEW OUT a very fine coyote team in the field of 32. and yes, yes, yes, they want payback. we just don't lose to this team anywhere. i have seen them lose to us on their floor, on ours, and i hope to on a neutral floor. lakdod, it's prediction time. |

![]() | As I recall from last years game, Alves was their start player. Seems like he's sharing that role this year with Chang making them an even bigger threat. Think they had a slow start this year due to injuries. Broncos had a slow start while setting up their zone. Happens every year... Coach K invests time early in the season getting his new guys in the zone and then lets it rip towards the end of the season. Seasiders bring back their guys from last year with more experience and beat the Yotes, who beat the Broncos last week.On the other hand we beat the number one seed on their home court. I gotta say it's going to be a close one. Broncos in OT? |

![]() | good first half for the broncos. there up by 11. it was the opposite last year so it means it still anybody game. broncos doing good job forcing turnover and stoping alves who only has 4 pts. Booker leads the way wit 10 but hurt near the end of the first half hopefully he can come back and play. The bench is contributing to with 14 pts. 9 of them coming from Rutledge hitting 3 three pointers. it should be a good second half. Continue to play the great defense on byu and especially to alves the broncos have a good shot in winning the game |

![]() | man, i love this announcer with the hawai'ian accent! sure adds a local flavor! and not a homer for his seasiders. all we need is the hula music! 20 more minutes. keep the faith bronco nation. stay focused. we got these guys. they are just as soft as coach k. says. |
