![]() | English 096 I enjoyed her course and since it was a 096 course, she taught the class like a 096 class. She understands young adults and relates well. Professor Pavenick works on one-on-one on the week before we turn in our essay. Always willing to help and bright and talkative (in a very good way). When professor Pavenick walked inside the classroom, no one knew she was the instrutor. She looks very young and stylish (if that matters to someone). There were about 6 essays and takes quick attendance. Down-to-Earth instructor. Recommended.

![]() | I couldn't agree more with KayCee. I LOVED going to her class! She talked like a student and engaged in a lot of off-topic conversations. Recommended for any ENG course

| I'm a student at LA City College, where Ms. Pavenick teaches English 102, a critical thinking and writing transfer course to UC system. She's the best English teacher I've had - the best thing being her wonderful ability to connect with the students, her great sense of humor, and above all, her acting capabilities. She makes every class session a theatrical performance, with her the only actor, and catches our attention to get us through the material. She's the best!!! |

| I have her for ENG 96 right now and I've got to say, this is an easy ass class. 4essays thats it and the class schedules are the same. 1- Read Story 2- Go over the story and PROMPT for the essay 3- 1st Draft day (Dont even have to go) 4- 2nd Draft day (Dont even have to go) 5- Turn in essay and maybe start new story. It repeats the same after that. She sometimes gives more draft days. |
