![]() | As the College of Engineering concludes a busy fall quarter, we want to encourage you to become involved with Cal Poly Pomona. As we move forward to meet the challenges of tomorrow and the constant demands of a decreasing state budget, we rely on your help – you can make a difference! We are looking for participants and sponsors for a variety of engineering activities: Attend our Project Symposium and Showcase, sponsor an engineering team in a collegiate competition, or play a role in the Engineering Student Leadership Retreat. These are just a few of the ways you can stay connected and help our students grow. Read more about how you can make a difference in the College of Engineering programs, on the web at: http://www.csupomona.edu/~engineerin...connected.html. Hands-on learning continues to be the hallmark of Cal Poly Pomona and the College of Engineering. Recent activities include: • Student teams presented their senior projects at the first-ever Engineering Project Showcase during the annual Project Symposium. Plan to attend next year’s Symposium on Friday, May 28, 2010 and watch last year’s video online at: http://www.csupomona.edu/~engineerin...sium/index.htm • More than 100 first-year engineering students designed and constructed miniature parade floats in the Mini Rose Float Parade.
