![]() | Last month, the world witnessed the remarkable talents of elite athletes at the Beijing Olympics, including Cal Poly Pomona's own Kim Rhode, an animal & veterinary sciences major, who won silver in skeet shooting. This issue of Poly @lumni recognizes Rhode's fourth Olympic medal and also spotlights former Olympian and 1971 alumna Chi Cheng, who is considered one of the greatest female Asian athletes of the 20th century. As fall quarter arrives, there will be plenty of opportunities for alumni to re-connect with the campus, including the third annual Matt's Run and the ever-popular Pumpkin Festival.
